Tab Redesign ("this extension", "we") is wholly owned by LINGHAN XU and is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Tab Redesign Chrome extension.

Our legal basis for processing personal data includes: fulfilling contracts (providing paid services, processing subscriptions), legitimate interests (service security, fraud prevention), and legal obligations (complying with the compliance requirements of payment service providers).

In short: We process only limited personal data (such as email addresses or order statuses) to the extent necessary to provide service support and notifications. For matters involving payments, subscriptions, or customer support, this information is primarily processed by third-party payment service providers.

Tab Redesign operates with minimal permissions in design. We only access the following information locally when you actively interact with the extension:

• The title and URL of your currently open tab (only for display in the assignment interface, not uploaded to any server).
• The current browser window's position and size information (only used for calculating split-screen layout, not uploaded).

All of the above information is processed locally on your device and will not be transmitted to our servers or any third party.

We will only use limited information to the extent necessary for:

• Provide and maintain service functions
• Handling subscription and payment related transactions
• Send necessary service notifications (such as subscription confirmations and important updates).
• Fraud prevention and service security
• Fulfill legal obligations

We explicitly state that we do not actively collect any of the following information:

• Personal identification information such as name and phone number
• Browsing history or webpage content
• Location data
• We do not actively collect or analyze your IP address. Some infrastructure services (such as hosting or security services) may process necessary network information (such as IP addresses) at the technical level, solely for the purpose of ensuring service security and stable operation.

• Cookies or tracking data. (Note: This extension itself does not use cookies; our marketing website may use necessary cookies at the technical level through underlying hosting services, not for user tracking or advertising purposes.)
• We do not directly collect or store any financial or payment information; such information is processed only by third-party payment service providers.

The above information is not actively collected or stored by us, but when using third-party services, the relevant information may be processed by the corresponding service provider.

Tab Redesign only requests the following Chrome permissions, each with a clear purpose:

• tabsRead the tab title and URL to display a list of available tabs in the allocation interface.
• windowsManage browser window position and size for precise split-screen layout.

We do not request "host permissions" (access to all website content), "storage" (storing user data), or any network access permissions.

Except for third-party services (such as payment processing) described in this policy, we will not sell, rent, or share your information with any third party, advertiser, data broker, or any other party. When using the Merchant of Record service, relevant information will be provided directly by the user to the third-party service provider and independently controlled and processed by them. We do not directly collect or determine how such payment data is processed. In the above scenarios, these third-party service providers process your personal data as independent data controllers.

Tab Redesign does not actively store user data, significantly reducing our data risk. However, we still take reasonable technical and organizational measures to ensure service security. All operations are completed on your local device.

Tab Redesign is not targeted at children under 13, and the service does not sell paid products to children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information. If you believe we have unintentionally collected information about a child, please contact us and we will handle it immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be announced by updating the "Last Updated" date on this page. We recommend that you review this policy periodically.

When you purchase paid features or subscriptions, we may use the following third-party payment service providers:

We may use Creem or PayPro Global as the Merchant of Record (MoR). In this case, the service provider will act as the legal seller of the transaction, responsible for payment processing, invoicing, tax compliance (VAT/GST/Sales Tax), and fraud prevention. Your purchase agreement will be established directly with this Merchant of Record service provider.

In some cases, we may use Stripe as a payment processor to process credit cards or other payment methods.

Depending on the payment method used, different service providers may collect the following information directly from you:

• email address
• Billing information (such as name and address)
• Payment information (credit card/debit card, etc.)
• Transaction records and billing information

The above information is collected and processed directly by third-party service providers. We do not directly process or store your payment card information, complete billing address, or other sensitive payment data.

We only receive necessary transaction notification information, such as payment status, subscription status, and your email address (used to send service notifications).

When using Merchant of Record (such as Creem or PayPro Global), refunds, billing disputes, and tax-related issues will be handled by the service provider.
